Our producers were so excited to receive the 2015 Visions Environmental Film Award last night! We are so thankful for everyone who came out to support our now award winning documentary.
We have just been announced as nominees in the upcoming 2015 Visions awards! Look for Chesapeake Villages under the categories of Best Environmental Film and Cinematography.
The reception is May 6th at 7:30pm with the event beginning at 8pm in the Malsi Doyle and Michael Forman Theater. We look forward to seeing you there! These proud producers were super excited to show off Chesapeake Villages at Chincoteague Island Theater last night!
Saturday, April 25th at 7pm Chesapeake Villages will be screening at Chincoteague's Island Theater! The screening will feature a discussion with producers Vanina Harel, Shayna Muller, and Nick Zachar as well as a small panel of local experts on aqua culture and the current state of bay resources.
Also, don't forget to watch the entire documentary this coming Wednesday, April 22nd at 8pm on Maryland Public Television! Maryland Public Television has not only featured us on the Chesapeake Bay Week website, but we have a prime time spot on their program schedule! Tune in on Wednesday, April 22nd at 8pm to catch the television premier of Chesapeake Villages!
We had two successful film screenings of Chesapeake Villages tonight and Saturday night at the Forman Theater at American University! We were featured as part of Chris Palmer's 10th Annual Spring 2015 Film Series. Both included a panel discussion with several student filmmakers and Professor Mike English.
We were even featured on the Environmental Film Festival website! We are also excited to announce that our film will be airing on Maryland Public Television this month for Chesapeake Bay Week! Tune in from you home on April 22nd at 8pm! More information can be found at the MPT website. In conjunction with the School of Communication's 10th Annual Spring 2015 Film Series, we are hosting two screenings of our film this month!
The World Premier of our film is on Saturday, March 28th at 5pm in the Forman Theater. In addition, the film Add One Back will also be premiering following the showing of Chesapeake Villages. This screening will include a panel discussion hosted by Chris Palmer following the film. The panel will feature student filmmakers and Professor Mike English who taught thehttp://www.american.edu/maps/ Center for Environmental Filmmaking class where Chesapeake Villages was produced for Maryland Public Television. The second screening will be on Tuesday, March 31st at 7pm in the Forman Theater. This will include a panel discussion hosted by Chris Palmer directly following the film. The panel will feature student filmmakers and Professor Mike English who taught the Center for Environmental Filmmaking class where Chesapeake Villages was produced for Maryland Public Television.
